Expansion of Funding Streams for Affordable Housing:

The Affordable Housing Committee recognizes that affordable housing has been historically under funded by the state of Illinois. We consistently work to create new funding sources for the creation of affordable housing:

Illinois Capital Budget: Victory!
Over the past year and half JASC has been partnering with United Power to meet with IL State Representatives and Senators to have them include $500 million dollars in the State Capital Budget.

Update: The Capital Budget that the General Assembly approved designates over $150 million dollars for affordable housing!
